Jammu and Kashmir: Security forces kill a terrorist in Kulgam, siege the area, encounter continues

A terrorist has been killed by security forces in Kulgam, Jammu, and Kashmir. The entire area has been cordoned off by security forces. All-access roads have been closed. On Thursday, the security forces received information about the presence of terrorists in an area of ​​Kulgam. After this, a large number of police personnel and army personnel reached the spot. Military officials asked the terrorists to surrender but they started firing. One terrorist was killed in retaliation. As of now, he has not been identified.

 

 

Earlier, security has been increased because of the continuous target killings in Kashmir. In the morning, in the Saraiballa area of ​​​​Srinagar, the security forces, taking swift action, closed all the shops and raided. Meanwhile, the shopkeepers and the people working there were searched. Due to this sudden action, the movement in the area intensified for some time. Two people have been killed and grenade attacks have taken place in Kashmir within a week. Security has been suddenly increased after the attacks in congested areas.

 

This year all the work of 112 terrorists

So far this year, 112 terrorists have been killed in Kashmir. 135 terrorists have been arrested in the union territory. This action has been taken by CRPF and other security forces in a joint operation.

 

14 civilians killed since October

Terrorists have killed 14 civilians in Kashmir since October. These include Kashmiri Pandit businessman Makhan Lal Bindru, five laborers from Bihar, two teachers from the minority community. Amidst these incidents, Home Minister Amit Shah visited Kashmir last month and reviewed it in a high-level security meeting. After this, the process was closed for a few days, but from November 7, civilians were victimized for two consecutive days.
