Jat leaders meet PM over reservations

New Delhi, March 26 (IANS) A delegation of Jat leaders met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday morning over quashing of the OBC quota for the community, official sources said.

The meeting comes as Jat leaders are seeking a review of Supreme Court decision of March 17 quashing a notification of the UPA government extending reservations to the communityin nine states.

The BJP government in Haryana has openly come out in support of job quotas for Jats.
