JNU UGC: JNU Vice Chancellor met UGC President, discussed various issues

Jawaharlal Nehru University Vice Chancellor Shantisree Dhuli Pandit has met UGC President M Jagadesh Kumar. The university said that in this meeting, they discussed many issues including grant and faculty salary hikes. The meeting was held on Tuesday to resolve several pending issues related to JNU. In the meeting, the UGC President assured to look into the pending cases of JNU positively at the earliest.

The university said in a statement on Wednesday that JNU Vice Chancellor Shantisree Pandit along with the Registrar of the University met Professor M Jagadesh Kumar, President, UGC on 20 September 2022. Various issues of the teachers, staff, and students of the university were discussed during the meeting.
