Vivo Y32 5G Launched With 8,000mAh Battery, IP69 Rating and Military-Grade Durability

Posted on 3rd Nov 2026 02:07 pm by rohit kumar

Vivo has expanded its Y-series smartphone portfolio with the launch of the Vivo Y32 5G in Nepal. The new smartphone is positioned as a device for users who prioritise long battery life, durability, and 5G connectivity. Its major highlights include an 8,000mAh battery, 44W fast charging, a 120Hz display and IP68/IP69 dust and water resistance.

The Vivo Y32 5G is reported to be an upgraded version of the Vivo Y32 4G, with a different processor and 5G connectivity. The company has introduced the smartphone in three RAM and storage configurations and two colour options. However, Vivo has not confirmed an India launch date or pricing.

Here is a closer look at the Vivo Y32 5G price in Nepal, its specifications, battery, camera, and other features.

Vivo Y32 5G Price in Nepal and Storage Variants

The Vivo Y32 5G is available in Nepal in three configurations. The reported prices are:

4GB RAM + 128GB storage: NPR 39,999 (approximately ₹25,000)

6GB RAM + 128GB storage: NPR 45,999 (approximately ₹28,600)

6GB RAM + 256GB storage: NPR 52,999 (approximately ₹33,000)

The smartphone is available in Sunset Orange and Twilight Red colour options.

These Indian rupee figures are approximate currency conversions and should not be treated as confirmed Indian retail prices. Vivo has not announced the phone's India launch date or pricing.

Processor and Display: 120Hz Screen

The Vivo Y32 5G is reported to be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor, built using a 4nm manufacturing process. The chipset brings 5G connectivity and is paired with up to 6GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

The smartphone features a 6.87-inch HD+ LCD with a resolution of 1592 × 720 pixels and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. Vivo lists an outdoor brightness figure of up to 1,300 nits, which is intended to improve screen visibility in bright conditions.

The display also carries TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light certification. This feature is designed to reduce certain forms of blue-light exposure under the tested conditions; it should not be interpreted as medical eye protection.

Vivo Y32 5G Camera Specifications

For photography, the Vivo Y32 5G is reported to feature a dual rear camera setup. It includes a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor.

On the front, the smartphone has an 8-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.

The camera system includes standard photography features, while the 50MP primary sensor is expected to handle most everyday photography requirements. Actual image quality will depend on lighting, processing, and camera software.

Massive 8,000mAh Battery With 44W Charging

The biggest attraction of the Vivo Y32 5G is its 8,000mAh battery. The large battery capacity is designed for users who want longer usage between charges, particularly for video playback, navigation, browsing, and other everyday activities.

The phone supports 44W wired fast charging. It also offers 7.5W reverse charging, allowing users to supply power to compatible devices through the smartphone.

Vivo claims that the battery can retain at least 80% of its capacity after 1,500 complete charging cycles. This is a manufacturer testing claim, and actual battery health will vary depending on charging habits, temperature, and usage.

It is worth noting that 8,000mAh is the battery's typical capacity; Vivo's listed rated capacity is 7,800mAh.

IP68 and IP69 Ratings, Military-Grade Durability

Durability is another major selling point of the Vivo Y32 5G. The smartphone carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.

It has also been associated with MIL-STD-810H military-grade shock-resistance testing and SGS five-star drop-resistance certification. These tests indicate that the device has undergone specific durability assessments under controlled conditions.

However, these ratings do not mean that the phone is indestructible or permanently waterproof. Water and dust resistance may decrease with normal wear and tear, and users should follow Vivo's care instructions.

Software and Additional Features

The Vivo Y32 series specifications list OriginOS 6 based on Android 16. Other reported features include stereo speakers, NFC support, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

The device also offers expandable storage support. Vivo's product information lists microSD expansion of up to 2TB, although the availability of specific features can vary by configuration and market.

Vivo Y32 5G vs Vivo Y32 4G: What Has Changed?

The Y32 5G is positioned as an upgraded version of the Y32 4G. The most significant reported change is the processor: the 5G version is associated with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset, while Vivo's Nepal product page for the Y32 lists the Unisoc T7300 processor and no 5G network support.

The newer 5G model is therefore intended to offer next-generation mobile connectivity alongside the large battery and rugged construction.

Is Vivo Y32 5G Coming to India?

Vivo has launched the Y32 5G in Nepal, but the company has not officially announced its India launch date or Indian pricing.

The Nepal starting price of NPR 39,999 converts to approximately ₹25,000. However, the final Indian price, if the phone launches in the country, could differ because of taxes, distribution costs and market positioning.

Indian buyers should therefore wait for an official announcement before treating the converted Nepal price as the expected India price.
