Astronaut Sunita Williams has returned to Earth. After spending 9 months and 14 days in space, Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore returned to Earth. On Wednesday, at 3:27 am Indian time, the SpaceX Crew Dragon capsule landed in the sea near the coast of Florida.
After landing, the capsule was put on the recovery vessel and washed. After opening the capsule, Alexander Gorbunov came out first, followed by Sunita Williams.
How was Sunita Williams's reaction after returning to Earth?
As soon as Sunita Williams came out, there was a smile on her face. As soon as she returned to Earth, she felt gravity. After coming out of the capsule, two members of the recovery team picked her up and made her sit on a stretcher. It is worth noting that she tried to stand up but she stumbled due to not being able to control gravity. After this, a medical checkup and other procedures of Sunita Williams (Sunita Williams Landing Video) were done. The doctor said that he is healthy.
NASA welcomed all four passengers
Apart from Sunita, Butch, Alexander Gorbunov and Nick Hague also returned to Earth. After landing in the sea, NASA welcomed all four passengers sitting in the spacecraft. The astronauts were welcomed from the control center with the message, "Nick, Alec, Butch, Suni - welcome home from SpaceX." Commander Nick Hague replied, "What a wonderful journey."
Let us tell you that on June 5, 2024, Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore left for the space station for 8 days through Boeing's new Starliner Crew Capsule, but due to a malfunction in the Starliner Crew Capsule, both got stuck on the ISS. Both returned safely to Earth after staying on the space station for 286 days.
Let us tell you that while staying on the space station, Sunita Williams and her team completed 900 hours of research. They conducted more than 150 experiments while on the ISS and set a new record.
