JOSAA Counseling 2022: First seat allotment of IIT-NIT on 23rd, acceptance fee will be deposited immediately if you get admission

JOSAA Counseling 2022 Result: The process of choice filling for joint seat allotment by JOSAA Counseling for 54,477 seats in 112 colleges including IIT-NITs across the country is over. This year 01 crore 89 lakh 75 thousand 588 choices have been filled by 01 lakh 91 thousand 817 students. Under this, the first round seat allotment will be issued on September 23 at 10 am. Students who will be allotted any college seat in the first round of seat allotment will have to upload the required documents by depositing the seat acceptance fee during online reporting from 23rd to the 26th of September.

Required documents to be uploaded

Students have to first download the seat allotment letter in online reporting. Along with this, students will have to upload the required documents for the allotted seat by paying the seat acceptance fee. These will include 10th, and 12th mark sheets, category-related documents, copies of cancellation checks, medical certificates, etc. After this, the students will be given the option of freezing, floating, and sliding to go to the next round of counseling.

Otherwise, the allotted seat will be canceled

The allotted seat will be confirmed by the reporting authority after scrutinizing the uploaded documents, if any discrepancy is found in the documents, the students will be informed by the verification authority within the stipulated time. The students will have to make up for the lack of documents by 05 PM on September 27, otherwise, their allotted seats will be canceled.

In this way, you will be able to appear in the next counseling round.

This year the joint counseling of IIT-NIT will be done in 06 rounds, after the first round of seat allotment, if the student is satisfied with the allotted seat and does not want to participate in the further rounds of counseling, then he can select the freeze option. Also, those students who want to participate in further counseling have to select the option of float and slide.

I will get a chance to go to the branch of the same college

During the choice filling of the college selected by the student by the float option, in any branch of the college filled in the college preference list and by the slide option the student has to fill the college preference list above the college found by the slide option in the branch of the same college. Will get a chance to go. Students who have not been allotted college in the first round are not required to report online, they will have to wait for further counseling rounds.
