After the match between Mumbai Indians and Punjab Kings on Wednesday in IPL 2022, there was a very interesting sight. Mumbai suffered its fifth consecutive defeat. After the match, the players and support staff of both teams were shaking hands with each other. Then Punjab's fielding coach Jonty Rhodes did something that all the players and spectators present in the stadium could not stop laughing.

Trying to salute Sachin by touching his feet

Sachin Tendulkar is the mentor of the Mumbai team. After the match, they were shaking hands one by one with all the members of the Punjab team. He talked to Punjab coach Anil Kumble for a while and then it was Jonty Rhodes' turn. Instead of shaking hands with Sachin, Rhodes tried to salute Sachin by touching his feet. Sachin immediately stopped them and then both the players shook hands with each other and moved forward.

Jonty was earlier the fielding coach of Mumbai

Jonty Rhodes was involved in the support staff of Mumbai Indians for a long time. He was the fielding coach of the team. He left Mumbai Indians in 2017.

Sachin is called the God of Cricket

Sachin Tendulkar has been by far the most popular figure in Indian cricket. Such has been the popularity of Sachin, he is also called God of Cricket i.e. God of Cricket.

Yuvraj also touched Sachin's feet
