BJP has launched the Sonar Bangla campaign for West Bengal assembly elections. Under this, the party will reach 2 crore people for its manifesto in the state and ask for suggestions from them. BJP Chief JP Nadda launched this campaign in Kolkata. BJP state president Dilip Ghosh and national general secretary of the party Kailash Vijayvargiya were also present during this period. After launching the campaign, JP Nadda said that we are committed to 'Sonar Bangla'. He said that the great tradition of Swami Vivekananda, Rabindranath Tagore, Bankim Chandra Chatterjee, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, Shyamaprasad Mukherjee, and Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar will bring back Bengal its glory.

JP Nadda said that we will take our campaign to 2 crore people of the state and will ask for suggestions on the manifesto. We will have around 30,000 suggestion boxes across the state. About 100 boxes will be kept in each of the 294 assembly seats in the state. He said that our workers will go door to door with 50 boxes, while 50 boxes can be kept in the main places of the cities. In this, people will be able to give their suggestions about our manifesto. Keeping these in mind, we will prepare our manifesto for the state.

The BJP president said that this campaign will run from the party from 3 to 20 March. Every assembly seat will be covered under this campaign. Actress Payal Sarkar also joined BJP before JP Nadda launched the campaign. Kolkata-born Payal Sarkar has worked in Bengali films and Hindi TV. She has acted in dozens of Bengali films and has also appeared in several web series. On Wednesday evening itself, cricketer Ashok Dinda also joined the BJP.

Yogi Adityanath to reach West Bengal on March 2: UP CM Yogi Adityanath is also going to join BJP's election campaign in West Bengal. He will address several rallies in West Bengal on 2 March. In the politics of West Bengal, which is considered important for polarization, BJP has great hope from the face of Yogi Adityanath. Recently Yogi Adityanath also visited the South Indian state of Kerala.
