Kanpur Violence: Big action in Kanpur violence case, action against these 4 accused under gangster

Kanpur News: In the case of violence that took place in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, last month, the police have taken action against four accused under the Gangster Act. The police commissioner and district officer have issued instructions to take action against the four accused under gangster. So far 60 people have been arrested in the violence that took place in Kanpur on June 3.

 

According to the information received, gangsters have been imposed on builder Haji Vashi, Mukhtar Baba Aqeel Khichdi, Shafiq, and Hayat Zafar Hashmi. It was said that the main accused did crowdfunding and tried to spoil the atmosphere, in such a situation, action has been taken against them under the Gangster Act.

Earlier, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the violence filed a case diary in the court. Violent clashes followed stone-pelting in Kanpur last month when a local organization called for a bandh to protest suspended BJP leader Nupur Sharma's remarks about Prophet Mohammad. The case diary has been filed by Public Prosecutor Dinesh Agarwal.

 

According to the investigation of the SIT, the miscreants were given money to spread violence. The case diary states that the stone pelters were allegedly given Rs 500-1,000. Those who used petrol bombs during the riots were reportedly paid Rs 5,000.

 

 

The SIT had told that if caught, the miscreants were assured of free legal aid. It has been told in the case diary that the miscreants were given seven to nine days of training to create a ruckus.
