
KVS Admission 2021: Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, KVS) has taken a major decision regarding admission in other classes including class 1. According to this, the entrance examination has been canceled for admission in class 9. Along with this, the last date for completion of the admission process for class 1 and other classes has been extended. Earlier this class was to end on April 23, 2021, but now students can take admission till April 30, 2021. KVS has also issued an official notification in this regard. Accordingly, KVS has also canceled the Class 9 entrance exam and announced that the admission will be done based on the 'priority category'. KVS has taken this decision due to the circumstances arising out of the second wave of coronavirus across the country.
Apart from this, KVS has also postponed the schedule of displaying admission lists for classes 2 to 9. The concerned Deputy Commissioners have been asked to decide on the merit of their states' entry lists. The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan has also declared summer holidays from May 3 to June 20, 2021. Explain that the registration process for admission in KVS Class 1 was closed on April 19.
Significantly, there are about 1247 Kendriya Vidyalayas across the country. At the same time under the Right to Education, 15% of seats are reserved for SC, ST, and OBC categories in these schools.
