
Heavy to very heavy rains are expected in the next five days in about 12 states of the country. These include Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Gujarat, West Bengal. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of thunderstorms and thunderstorms in many areas of these states.
From Monday to Friday, there may be heavy to very heavy rains in all the states of Northeast including West Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, East Rajasthan, West Bengal, and Sikkim, Nagaland.
Heavy rain may occur in many districts in Madhya Pradesh
Incessant rain continues in Madhya Pradesh. During the next few hours, light to moderate rain is likely over Guna, Sheopur, Shivpuri, and Bhind. Along with this, the Meteorological Department has predicted light to moderate rain at isolated places in Malwa Nimar and Bundelkhand along with Bhopal till evening. Heavy rains lashed Bhind on Thursday. Water fell up to 4 inches in most areas.
Heavy rain expected in Western Uttar Pradesh including Delhi-NCR
Heavy rain is expected in many districts of Uttar Pradesh between Friday and Saturday. The maximum impact will be seen in the districts of Delhi NCR and Western Uttar Pradesh. Dark clouds have engulfed Meerut, Ghaziabad, Noida, Hapur, Bulandshahr, Baghpat, Muzaffarnagar, Shamli, Bijnor, and adjoining districts. Strong winds are also blowing here.
Earlier on Thursday too, there was a lot of rain in these districts. The water continued to fall till late in the night. It is raining continuously in Ayodhya as well. Here, the weather is clear in Lucknow and some adjoining districts today. It is sunny here after 24 hours of continuous rain. However, there is a possibility of rain again between Friday evening and Saturday.
It will rain throughout September in Rajasthan
According to the Jaipur Meteorological Department, from September 17 to 23, light and moderate rain will continue in Jaipur, Bharatpur, Kota, Ajmer, and Udaipur divisions of East Rajasthan. There is a possibility of heavy rain at isolated places in Udaipur, Dungarpur, Banswara, Chittorgarh, Jhalawar areas of South Rajasthan. There is a possibility of light rain at some places of the Jodhpur and Bikaner divisions in western Rajasthan this week. There may be rain in the state from September 24 to 30. According to the Meteorological Department, this time in September there may be more rain than normal.
