More than 5 lakh suggestions came in the evening of May 13
Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had sought suggestions from the public on phone number, WhatsApp number and email till 5 pm on Wednesday. People have sent four lakh 76 thousand on WhatsApp, 10 thousand 7 hundred on e-mail, 39 thousand on phone and 22 thousand 700 on Change.com Arg. There have been suggestions from a total of 5,48,400 people. Based on these suggestions from the public, on May 15, the Delhi government will make a report and send it to the central government.
Suggestions received for opening metro-buses and educational institutions
It is being told that after May 17, the public has given its important suggestions on various issues including transport, business, school- college and industry. Apart from this, people have also given their important suggestions on school-college operations under changed circumstances. People have also made several important suggestions to bring the business back on track.
Significantly, the Chief Minister had said that I want to know the suggestions of the people of Delhi, what should be opened and what should not be opened. In fact, on Tuesday, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal sought suggestions from the people of Delhi on the issue of relaxing the lockdown. He had said that the public will decide how much the lockdown will open in Delhi after May 17. On Tuesday, the Chief Minister said in a digital press conference that the Prime Minister has sought suggestions from the Chief Ministers till May 15 to relax the lockdown after 17 May. In which areas of Delhi do people want to be relaxed? On this, they can give their suggestions till 5 pm on 13 May.
The Chief Minister had said that the people of Delhi should tell what things should be opened and what should not be opened. Certainly physical distance will be strictly followed during this period. It will be mandatory for everyone to wear masks. On the one hand we have to first protect our health from the corona and on the other hand we should also maintain the health of the economy. Because a lot of people are suffering due to the lockdown. He said that besides taking suggestions from the public, I will also talk to experts and doctors.
The suggestions sought are not voting, it is just the views of all
