
The case of Nupur Sharma, suspended from BJP, does not seem to be cooling down. Now a Muslim youth has been arrested from Bhiwandi in Maharashtra. It is alleged that the youth had posted on his social media account in support of Nupur Sharma. He had said – he does not support any particular religion. Police said that the accused youth is an engineering student. He has been identified as Saad Ashfaq Ansari.

Saad Ashfaq is alleged to have made a post on social media on Saturday. In this, many things were written in support of the comment made by Nupur Sharma on Prophet Mohammad. It is alleged that the sentiments of other communities were hurt by the remarks of the youth.

As soon as Saad's post went viral. People from the Muslim community gathered in the Bhiwandi Kaiserbagh area and entered his house. Here Saad was forcibly asked for forgiveness and he was asked to read the kalma. Saad says that he does not support any particular religion. He said, his family is being threatened with death.

Seeing the crowd gathered after Saad's statement, the police came into alert mode. Taking quick action, the police registered a case against Saad for hurting religious sentiments and took him into custody.
