Major plane accident averted at Italy airport: Main landing gear tire detached from the plane as soon as it took off; Safe landing of America

Atlas Air's Dreamlifter, the main landing gear tire of a Boeing 747 aircraft detached from the aircraft as it took off. The accident happened on Tuesday at Taranto airport in Italy. There were no casualties in the accident.

 

Boeing 747 aircraft is normally used for transport. Boeing said - the cargo plane made a safe landing at Charleston International Airport in America. The cause of the accident is being investigated.

 

100 kg is the weight of the disassembled tire

 

The Boeing 747 cargo plane has 18 tires. This is the reason why the plane could make a safe landing at another airport. The tire that separated from the plane weighs about 100 kg. According to media reports, the tire separated from the plane was found in a vineyard near the airport.

 

Video went viral on social media

 

A video of the accident has also gone viral on social media. In this, as soon as take off, a tire is seen falling on the runway after separating from the plane. Smoke can also be seen coming out of the plane in the video.

 

The plane caught fire due to tire separation at the time of landing

 

In July, a plane caught fire after landing at Miami International Airport in the US. 126 people were present on the plane at the time of the accident. Three people were slightly injured in the accident. According to media reports, at around 5.30 pm (US time), the plane's landing gear broke and fell at the airport. After which the plane collided with a crane tower present at the airport. The video of this accident went viral on social media.
