
Narendra Modi Himachal Visit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will give many big gifts to Himachal on Thursday before the assembly elections. The Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone of several development projects in the Una and Chamba districts, which is one of the 117 aspirational districts of the country. Giving information about the inauguration and foundation stone laying to be done on Thursday, the Prime Minister has written that this will fulfill the aspirations of the people of Himachal Pradesh. The pace of development in the state will be accelerated. This is Modi's second visit to Himachal within nine days. By addressing rallies in Chamba and Una, people will be filled with electoral enthusiasm.
Will lay the foundation stone of Bulk Drug Park
Modi will lay the foundation stone of the Bulk Drug Park in Haroli, Una from Indira Stadium to be set up for Rs 1200 crore. The park will prove to be a milestone for the development of the state and the pharmaceutical industry. The pharmaceutical industry will not have to depend on China for the raw material i.e. Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs). The cost of production of medicines will be less and people will get medicines cheaper. At present, the pharmaceutical industry imports 85 percent of its raw materials from China.
Travel will be pleasant by Vande Bharat Express train
Modi will flag off the Vande Bharat Express running between Amb-Andaura to Delhi. This will be the fourth Vande Bharat train in the country. The journey to Delhi by train with a speed of 130 km will be covered in about five and a half hours. This train will run six days a week. He will also inaugurate Triple IT at Una. The proposed foundation stone laying of the Una-Hamirpur railway line has been postponed.
The third phase of the Pradhan Mantri Gramin Sadak Yojana launched
After this, Modi will launch the third phase of the Pradhan Mantri Gramin Sadak Yojana for Himachal from Chaugan in Chamba. He will lay the foundation stone for two hydroelectric projects here. 800 crore will be spent on the construction work of 48 MW Chanju-III and 30.50 MW Diothal Chanju project. Himachal Pradesh Vidyut Nigam Limited (HPPCL) will undertake the construction work of both projects.
