Modi pays tribute to Guru Ravidas

New Delhi, Feb 3 (IANS) Prime Minister Narendra Modi Tuesday paid tributes to Guru Ravidas on his birth anniversary and said his teachings are a "great inspiration" for people.

"On his Jayanti, tributes to Guru Ravidas ji. Guru Ravidas ji's teachings of equality and brotherhood in society are a great inspiration for us," the prime minister said.

Guru Ravidas Jayanti is celebrated on Magh Purnima, the full moon day in the Magh month.
