Negotiations possible on Russia-Ukraine war

It is being told that there is a possibility of talks between the two Prime Ministers regarding the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine. Because of the changing global order and the changes taking place in the global economy after the Ukraine-Russia war, how India and Britain will take forward their bilateral relations will be an important part of the talks between these leaders. The main focus of Johnson's talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be the situation in the Indo-Pacific as Britain strongly opposes any coercion in the region.

Johnson will avoid putting pressure on ties with Russia

After Russia's attack on Ukraine, when India decided to abstain from voting in favor of Russia in the United Nations General Assembly, some senior ministers of the Johnson government had made scathing remarks, but in the two plus two talks in America, India's The blunt answer has changed the atmosphere. Because of this, Johnson will refrain from putting any pressure on relations with Russia.

Earlier, Johnson reached Sabarmati Ashram in Ahmedabad on Thursday. He described Mahatma Gandhi as an extraordinary person. The British PM, who visited the new JCB factory in Panchmahal, said that India and the UK should deepen the security and defense partnership.
