The monsoon session of Parliament is starting on Monday. Before the start of the session, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the temperature outside is not decreasing, whether the heat will reduce in the house or not, we will see. Modi has called Parliament a pilgrimage area.

 

Talking to reporters in the Parliament complex, he said that this time the session of the House is important because elections are being held for the post of President and Vice President and the country will get guidance from the new President and Vice President.

 

There should be a debate, but give priority to the issues of the people.

 

Modi said that the House is a powerful medium of communication. Where there is open communication. There should be a debate on the need, there should be criticism. But, MPs should give priority to the issues of the people and work on them.

 

The opposition will raise 4 big issues in the house

 

The opposition will try to surround the government on the issue of inflation, Agneepath, and misuse of ED-CBI. The opposition has indicated this by demanding a discussion on these issues in the all-party meeting before the session. Along with this, the opposition will also open a front against the government regarding the list of unparliamentary words in the house. The opposition will be the most attacker on these four issues...

4. Alleged misuse of investigative agencies

 

18 sittings, 32 bills can be presented

 

Parliament will have 18 sittings in this session, which will run till August 12. 32 bills can be introduced by the government in the session. Of these, 24 are new. 35 are pending. Eight bills are to be introduced for reconsideration. 14 Bills are ready. Four bills were referred to the Standing Committee for consideration. His report has also arrived. These bills also include the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Bill.

 

36 parties took part in the all-party meeting

 

On Sunday, 36 parties participated in the all-party meeting chaired by Defense Minister Rajnath Singh in the Parliament House complex. Most of the opposition parties demanded a discussion on the Agneepath scheme.

 

Congress demanded a discussion on 13 issues including Agneepath, inflation, misuse of ED-CBI, rising unemployment, Kashmiri Pandits, hate speech, Chinese infiltration, and attack on the federal structure of the country. Leader of Opposition Mallikarjun Kharge said that the opposition is ready to fully cooperate, but our issues should also be discussed in Parliament.
