Morbi Bridge Collapse: 'Never seen such an accident... Eyewitnesses narrated a scary scene, told what happened

The death toll in the cable bridge accident in Morbi, Gujarat has risen to more than 140 people. The rescue operation is still going on after this incident on Sunday evening. It is being told that the death toll may increase further. This accident shook the entire country. On the other hand, eyewitnesses have told the full story of the accident.

 

'Helping people the whole night without sleeping

A man who set up a tea stall near the cable bridge on the Machhu river has told the full story of the accident. The man told that he sells tea here every Sunday. The eyewitness said, 'I sell tea there every Sunday. People were hanging from the cable and suddenly fell. Seeing this horrific accident, I could not sleep the whole night and kept helping people. It was heartbreaking to see a seven-eight-month pregnant woman dead. I have never seen such a thing before in my life.

'Can't describe in words

Another eyewitness of the accident, Hasina, has told about it. She said that I cannot describe it in words. Children were also among the dead. I helped people like my family members. I also gave my vehicle for use to take people to the hospital. I have never seen such a horrific accident.

Gujarat Home Minister Harsh Sanghvi held a press conference on Monday morning regarding this accident. He said that a criminal case has been registered in the accident. The investigation is being done under the leadership of Range IGP.
