More than 150 pregnant women are at risk of infection due to contact with corona infected doctor in the hospital

Many pregnant women are at increased risk of getting infected after a doctor who performed sonography at Bhopal's Jaypee Hospital confirmed that they were found infected with corona. Now on behalf of Jaypee Hospital, pregnant women are being called and advised to get corona tested. So far, the doctor who got infected with Corona has done sonography of about 150 pregnant women.

 

It is known that the immunity of pregnant women remains weak anyway. More than half the pregnant women in the district have not been vaccinated on it. Even half of those who have felt it has got only the first dose. In such a situation, they are at risk of getting infected and worsening the condition.

 

It is learned that the doctor and his wife have received both doses of the corona vaccine. Significantly, the corona investigation report of the wife of the said doctor posted in JP Hospital has also come positive. At present, the doctor couple has been admitted to AIIMS, where their condition is currently said to be fine.

 

According to the Health Bulletin issued by the Health Department on Wednesday, five corona patients have been found in the state on Tuesday. Of these, four are from Bhopal and one is from Indore. These patients have been found in the investigation of a total of 52,695 samples. The number of active patients in the state is 77. A day before this, four new corona patients were identified in the state. Of these, three were from Bhopal and one from Indore.
