Mukherjee meets participants of R Day parade

New Delhi, Jan 27 (IANS) President Pranab Mukherjee Tuesday met students, artists and other participants of the Republic Day parade.

He met students, National Service Scheme volunteers, NCC cadets, tableau artistes, tribal artistes and others at the Rashtrapati Bhavan, an official release said here.

The president also witnessed performances including those on themes of empowerment of women and interacted with the participants.
