Daughter is sick, take care of her: Pilot's last call before Kedarnath chopper crash

A helicopter carrying pilgrims crashed in Kedarnath on Tuesday. Pilot Anil Singh was killed in the accident. Anil had spoken to his wife a day before the accident and said that the daughter is ill, and to take care of her.

 

57-year-old pilot Anil Singh was living in Mumbai with his family for 15 years. His daughter's name is Firoza Singh. His wife Shirin Anandita is originally from Delhi. Anandita along with her daughter will leave for New Delhi on Wednesday to perform the last rites of her husband.

 

Anandita is a writer by profession

According to the news agency PTI, Anandita is a writer by profession. She works in writing film stories. She told that she had last spoken to her husband on Monday. His daughter is always sick. He told me to take care of him. Anandita said that she has no complaint against anyone.

 

Aryan aviation regulators came under scrutiny

Teams of the Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) and Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) are investigating the accident. Recently the DGCA had taken the Aryan Aviation Regulator under the scanner. A fine of Rs 5 lakh was imposed on him. Now once again Aryan Aviation has come under the scanner. According to the DGCA website, this was the only 6-seater helicopter in the company's fleet of five helicopters.

 

A helicopter collided with a rock due to dense fog, 7 killed

 

The reason for the accident is said to be bad weather and fog. Due to dense fog, the helicopter hit the rock. After this, the helicopter caught fire and crashed near Garudachatti.

 

The names of the deceased are Poorva Ramanuj, Kriti Broad, Urvi, Sujata, Prem Kumar, Kala, and Pilot Anil Singh. Of these, Poorva, Kriti, and Urvi are from Gujarat, Pilot Anil is from Maharashtra. The remaining three are from Tamil Nadu. A magisterial inquiry has been ordered into the accident.
