Chennai, Feb 14 (IANS) Following in the footsteps of filmmaker Shankar, who helped to release his assistant's Tamil comedy "Kappal" last year, filmmaker Mysskin has decided to release his assistant's Tamil directorial debut "Kallappadam".
"I had seen the film and needless to say I was impressed. This film, as far as I am concerned, will go a long way in enhancing the quality of movies. I'm proud to declare Vadivel as my principal assistant and endorse his filmmaking ability by acquiring the theatrical rights of the film," Mysskin told IANS.
The film is about how first-timers try and make a film braving all the challenges thrown at them by the industry.
"Kallappadam" features the film's director, editor, cinematographer and music composer who play themselves in the movie.
