NDA: 'What is the guarantee that Nitish...?' DMK leader's big statement on Bihar politics

Posted on 29th Jan 2024 10:57 am by rohit kumar

Bihar CM Nitish Kumar has broken ties with the opposition alliance and joined the NDA camp. When RS Bharti, leader of DMK, an ally of the INDIA alliance, was asked about this, he said, 'What is the guarantee that Nitish Kumar will remain a part of the NDA alliance till the Lok Sabha elections? Just wait.' DMK MP TR Baalu has also criticized Nitish Kumar.

TR Baalu attacked Nitish

Nitish's joining the NDA camp is a big blow to the opposition alliance, but the leaders of the opposition alliance are denying this. DMK MP TR Baalu said that 'Nitish Kumar's departure is not a shock for the opposition alliance. Nitish Kumar said that if no work was done in the opposition alliance, then what plan had he given? He did not give any plan. He just used to say that we all should talk in Hindi, but we tolerated it. All parties want to contest elections on maximum seats, but this is an alliance and we have to distribute seats. I wish that DMK contests elections on more than 20 seats in Tamil Nadu. On seat sharing with Congress, TR Baalu said, 'The first phase of talks have taken place between the two parties and the second phase will be discussed after February 9.'

Congress leader expressed disappointment

Congress leader Acharya Pramod Krishnam expressed disappointment over Nitish Kumar going with NDA. He said that 'Nitish Kumar leaving the INDIA alliance is disappointing for all of us. He was the captain of this alliance. We need to think about why such situations arose. Action should be taken against the leaders who were coordinating the alliance. He failed to apprise Rahul Gandhi and Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge about the situation.

In a dramatic development, Nitish Kumar has broken ties with the Grand Alliance and the INDIA alliance and formed the government with the BJP-led NDA alliance. Nitish Kumar took oath as CM at 5 pm on Sunday. Whereas BJP's Samrat Chaudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha took oath as Deputy CM.
