The wreckage of Nepal's Tara Airlines, which crashed on Sunday, was found on Monday (May 30). The bodies of all the 22 people killed in the accident have been recovered. Along with this, the black box of the airlines has also been found, which was brought to the base station.

 

According to the news agency AFP, there were 19 passengers and 3 crew members on the plane. There were also 4 Indians in this plane. The search and rescue team of the Nepal Army has found debris on the hill in the Sanosware area of ​​Mustang. The aircraft was 43 years old. The Nepal government formed a five-member commission to investigate the Tara aircraft crash. This commission will investigate the causes of this incident, as well as give suggestions to avoid such incidents.

 

The aircraft hit the hill but did not catch fire

 

Nepal's English news website, MyRepublic, spoke to Inda Singh Dana, a local citizen who was the first to visit the crash site. Dana said – The debris of the plane was scattered in the area of ​​100 meters, but it was very difficult to reach here. Seeing the wreckage of the aircraft, it is clear that there was no fire in it, as there are no signs of burns anywhere. He had hit a hill. There is snowfall and dense fog in the area. Getting the dead body out of here is also very difficult at the moment. Since there was no fire when the aircraft crashed, the faces of all the victims of the accident are recognizable.

Four people from a family from Thane, Maharashtra were also on board the plane. The Indian Embassy in Nepal has said that Ashok Tripathi (54) from Thane, his wife Vaibhavi Bandekar-Tripathi (51), son Dhanush Tripathi (22), and daughter Ritika Tripathi (18) was also traveling. All were going to visit a temple in Pokhara, Nepal.

 

Search operation had to be stopped due to bad weather

 

Nepal Army had said on Sunday evening – Local people told that the plane crashed on the banks of the Lamchi river. It is a river in the Manapati Himal region of the Mustang district. The search and rescue operation had to be called off due to very bad weather on the previous day. It was snowing and raining in the area. So the search was resumed on Monday morning.

 

Pilot's mobile location

According to the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) – the mobile phone of the captain of the plane was on. When its location was traced, the location of the aircraft was also found. However, all efforts to reach the spot on Sunday were foiled due to bad weather. It was successful on Monday.

Army helicopters were engaged in the search

 

Nepali Army spokesman Narayan Silwal had said on Sunday – an MI-17 helicopter was sent for Mustang. Home Ministry spokesperson Fadindra Mani Pokhreli said- We had deployed two helicopters in Mustang and Pokhara to search for the aircraft.

According to flightradar24.com - this twin-engine aircraft of Tara Airlines was 43 years old. An aircraft of the same fleet had also crashed last year. This aircraft took off from Pokhara at 9.55 am. The last signal was received at 10.7 hrs. At this time the aircraft was at an altitude of 12 thousand 825 feet.
