The counting of votes continues after the general elections in Israel. 85% of the votes have been counted. According to early trends, former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's Likud party may register a victory. The Likud party could get 31 seats, and with the radical right-wing and ultra-Orthodox Jewish parties, they could manage to win a majority.

40 parties are not getting even 3.25% vote turnover, so they will not be able to reach Knesset (Parliament). Experts believe that if Netanyahu wins, the work of a wall built to stop the Palestinians can proceed. Netanyahu believes that a wall is necessary to effectively implement a zero-tolerance policy against terrorism.

Only 8 women in Netanyahu's coalition

There are only 8 women in the Netanyahu block, as ultra-conservative parties do not give tickets to women. While there are 30 women in the present government. It will be the first Knesset in 30 years to have no representatives of the Druze minority, minority.

Leader convicted of racism sought minister's post

Ben Gwyer, leader of the Religious Zionism Party and Netanyahu's coalition partner, has demanded that he be made interior security minister in the new government, which would put the police department under him. Ben was convicted in 2007 of inciting racism. He has also been a supporter of the banned Kach terrorist group.

Likely to have a free trade agreement with India

With Netanyahu as prime minister, India and Israel can work together on terrorism, technology, and bilateral trade. There can also be a free trade agreement between the two countries. Netanyahu and Prime Minister Modi have had good relations. Modi is the first PM of India who visited Israel. Netanyahu came to India 5 years ago as Prime Minister. Then PM Narendra Modi broke the protocol and went to the airport to receive him.
