The Supreme Court has given great relief to Nupur Sharma in the matter of their statement on Prophet Mohammad. The court has ordered a stay on his arrest till August 10. The next hearing of the matter has also been fixed for the same day. The court has issued notices to the Center and the states where cases have been registered against them. In this notice, the court has asked the states and the central government why the cases registered against Nupur Sharma should not be transferred to one place. It is believed that after the reply from the states and the Center, the decision on the transfer of cases will be taken by the court.

During the hearing of the case, the Supreme Court said that we amend our previous order a little. We don't want you to go to every court. In the petition filed by Nupur Sharma, it was said that 9 FIRs are registered against her at different places and all of them should be transferred to one place so that she does not have to travel to different cities in the country. Nupur Sharma's lawyer Maninder Singh said that her client's life is in danger and she is getting threats from all over the place. To this, the court said that we want to uphold your legal options.
