On the one hand, half of Pakistan is immersed in floods, and on the other hand, Imran Khan is shining in politics, the stakes should not be reversed.

On one hand, more than 6 million people in the country have been affected by the floods of Pakistan, while PTI Chief and former PM Imran Khan is not shying away from doing politics through his rallies. They have only one objective at the moment they can somehow come back to power. For this, he also appears completely serious. To mobilize his supporters through the rally and reach power, he is giving the name of the fight for the right to freedom. Looking at the way Imran Khan is holding rallies every week, it seems as if the general elections have been announced in the country. Although it is not so. At present, the government has no intention of announcing general elections.

According to experts, the government is waiting for the right time for this. General elections were held in Pakistan in 2018. In these elections, only 51 percent of voting was done and Imran Khan's PTI won 149 seats in the National Assembly of 342 MPs of the country. In this election, PML-N was at number two, and PPP at number three. In such a situation, the current Parliament will be dissolved in August 2023. According to the law of the country, there is a provision to hold general elections before or within three months of it. In this context, Imran Khan and the government do not have much time left.

Imran will not get the benefit

According to analyst Qamar Agha, who monitors Pakistan's politics, Imran Khan will not be able to take advantage of the way he is holding fast-paced rallies amid natural calamity. According to him, he has even said in a rally that he does not have any space for the flood victims at present.

Pakistan came to its knees due to floods

According to him, this flood has brought Pakistan to its knees. Even after this, there is no mention of flood victims in Imran's rallies. In his rallies, he is confined only to the government and the government formed through foreign powers. Imran Khan should have come forward to help the flood victims in the situation in Pakistan. It was possible that he could make his place in the minds of the people to return to power. But, now it doesn't seem so.

Imran's politics is limited to return to power

According to Agha, it will be in the minds of most people about Imran Khan that he is limited only to his return to power. They are not concerned with the current situation of the country. Imran Khan is not only doing politics in rallies but his seriousness toward flood victims is completely visible on social media too.
