Russia Ukraine War: Ukrainian military warehouse destroyed in a Russian drone attack, Ukrainians fear the result of the referendum

Posted on 27th Sep 2022 10:22 am by rohit kumar

On the night of Sunday-Monday, the Russian army again launched a vigorous attack in Ukraine. In the port city of Odessa, several drones hit targets during the night. The ammunition warehouse of the Ukrainian army was also targeted in these attacks. Due to the attack, it caught fire, which later spread to a large area, and there are continuous explosions. Fire extinguishing work continues. Meanwhile, referendums are underway in four regions of Russia-occupied Ukraine.

Ukraine has said that Russian troops in these areas are going door-to-door to get people to vote in favor of a proposal to join Russia. Meanwhile, the US has announced fresh assistance of $ 457.5 million for Ukraine to operate its civilian facilities.

Fear among citizens of Ukraine

The newly created conditions are creating fear among the citizens of Ukraine. They feel that the conflict in Ukraine will increase if Russia gets the expected results in the referendums in Luhansk, Donetsk, Kherson, and Zaporizhia.

Russia has made it clear that if the people of these areas have expressed their desire to join Russia, then they will be given full protection as Russian citizens. Nuclear weapons will be deployed in the area to protect them. In the event of an attack on them, Russia will respond with full force.

Putin has indicated the use of nuclear weapons

Russian President Putin has indicated the use of nuclear weapons. After that, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov pledged full security to the people who join Russia in front of the international media in New York.

It is noteworthy that Russia has the largest number of nuclear weapons in the world. The US has said that if Russia uses nuclear weapons in Ukraine, it will have disastrous consequences for Russia. Sullivan said it was conveyed to Russia through an appropriate channel.

Meanwhile, British intelligence has said that Russian troops have started reaching Ukraine in line with Putin's announcement. The first contingent of reserve troops has reached the Russian military base created in Ukraine. These soldiers are armed but not trained enough for war.

Britain imposes sanctions on 59 Russians

Britain on Monday announced new sanctions on Russia, calling the Russian referendum a forgery. Under the new sanctions, 55 officials of important Russian institutions and four wealthy people have been banned. Their travel to the UK has been banned and more than $6 billion worth of UK-based wealthy assets will be confiscated.

All borders of Russia open as before: Kremlin

The discussion in the media about citizens fleeing Russia has been termed by the Kremlin, the office of the Russian President, as baseless. It has been said that all the borders with Russia's neighboring countries are open as before, the movement through them is the same, and there is no point in the discussion of people leaving the country.

There is talk in the media that people are running to avoid joining the army after Russian President Putin announced the deployment of 300,000 reserve troops to Ukraine.
