In other BJP-ruled states including Bihar, the demand for this from BJP is increasing. Meanwhile, the Janata Dal-United (JDU), which is part of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) along with the BJP, has bluntly said that there is a government of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar in Bihar and Uniform Civil Code at any cost during his Chief Minister. There is no question of implementing it. This big statement has been given by JDU Parliamentary Board Chairman Upendra Kushwaha.

After this statement of Sushil Modi, Upendra Kushwaha has given this strong statement.

It will not be implemented under the Nitish government

Questioning the need for Uniform Civil Code in Bihar, Kushwaha said that the country is running by the Constitution and will continue with it in the future also. On the question of how JDU alone can decide on this big issue in the NDA government, Upendra Kushwaha bluntly said that his party cannot compromise with its policies. Whatever be the case, the question of the Uniform Civil Code does not arise.
