New Delhi: After the Taliban's occupation in Afghanistan, women there are scared about their rights and the oppression they are facing. Many countries of the world, including India, have expressed their concerns about the deteriorating situation in Afghanistan. All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen chief Asaduddin Owaisi has targeted the Narendra Modi government at the Center for crimes against women in the country.

There are atrocities against women in India: Owaisi

Asaduddin Owaisi has said in Hyderabad, "Nearly 10 percent of girls in India die under the age of five, but the concern is happening in Afghanistan." But the Center is concerned about the women of Afghanistan.

Women missing from the streets of Kabul

No women were seen on the streets of Afghanistan's capital four days after a swift and unexpected attack by the Taliban. After the fall of Kabul, it closed its restaurant along with several businesswomen. All educational centers, schools, universities, government buildings, and private offices have also been closed since the Taliban took over.

15 years of brutal rule by the Taliban

During the brutal 1996–2001 Taliban regime, women were continually subjected to human rights violations, denied employment and education, forced to wear the burqa, and left their homes without a male "guardian" or mahram. Ban was imposed.
