IPL 2024: 'Stop speaking King, I get embarrassed', Virat Kohli expressed his 'Mann Ki Baat' in precise words

Star batsman Virat Kohli returned to the cricket stadium after almost two months and participated in the Unbox event of Royal Challengers Bangalore on Tuesday.

 

It should be noted that Virat Kohli had taken a break from cricket before the five-match Test series against England when he was with his wife Anushka Sharma. The couple welcomed their son some time ago.

 

Virat Kohli finally returned to the cricket field and is now eager to make his mark in IPL 2024. Kohli got a grand welcome from the audience during RCB's Unbox event in Bengaluru. The audience raised a lot of slogans after seeing their favorite star. During this, 35-year-old Kohli said that he should not be called 'King' because it makes him feel embarrassed.

 

How did you get the name King?

It is worth noting that Virat Kohli has got the name King because of his brilliant performance in the cricket world. Kohli made his team (India and RCB) out of difficult situations on many occasions made them winners and scored a mountain of runs. Considering Kohli's achievements, he was called the King of Cricket in the modern era.

Let us tell you that the bugle of IPL 2024 will sound on 22nd March. The opening match will be played between defending champions Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. There has been a great rivalry between the two teams and fans are hopeful that the first match of the tournament will be full of action. Kohli will try to improve his record at MA Chidambaram Stadium.
