PTI president demands dissolution of the assembly
Islam Khabar, citing reliable sources, said that the army was in discussions to select a political and financial leader before the announcement of the election. Presenting his demands, the PTI president said he was demanding a date for fresh elections and the dissolution of the assembly.
In response, the interim government led by Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has launched a campaign of vengeance against PTI leaders such as Shireen Mazari and journalists who supported Imran Khan.
As the prime minister warned, thousands of Imran Khan's supporters are already on the streets and motivated enough to take over the state's institutions, which could lead to civil war.

In this regard, the generals have already warned the Imran Khan Brigade to refrain from pelting mud. Shirin Mazari was involved in an incident in one of his games. Journalists who supported Imran have also been accused of sedition. Media officials have issued a stern warning against derogatory references to judges and generals.
