Explain that the Chinese Embassy announced this by issuing a notice on its official website. China said, 'Due to technical reasons, the Consular Section of the Chinese Embassy in Islamabad will be temporarily closed from February 13, 2023, until further notice.

Chinese citizens warned

China has warned Chinese nationals living in Pakistan to be more vigilant during their stay in Pakistan because of the security situation. China said that the risk here could increase due to the deteriorating security situation here. Let us tell you that ever since the Pakistani Taliban group agreed with the government, there has been a lot of increase in terrorist attacks since the end of last year.

Various militant groups in Pakistan have repeatedly attacked Chinese nationals working on the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), intending to jeopardize a key segment of Beijing's Belt and Road infrastructure initiative. CPEC is a USD 65 billion network of roads, railways, pipelines, and ports in Pakistan connecting China to the Arabian Sea.
