The Supreme Court of Pakistan on Tuesday allowed the Election Commission (ECP) to proceed against the country's former prime minister Imran Khan and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders Asad Umar and Fawad Chaudhry in cases related to contempt of the poll body. Continue the proceedings. While the Election Commission has been allowed to continue with the contempt proceedings, it has been restrained from passing a final decision.
