Pamela Chopra passes away at 74: Yash Chopra's wife Pamela Chopra passed away on Thursday morning, April 20, at the age of 74. Pamela Chopra was a famous Indian playback singer. Along with this, she was also a film writer and producer.

 

According to reports, she was admitted to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai for the last 15 days. Doctors had put him on a ventilator, but there was no improvement in his health. The information shared from Yash Raj's official page states that Pamela Chopra's last rites have been performed today at 11 am in Mumbai.

Pamela Chopra was last seen in Yash Raj's documentary 'The Romantics'. Where she talked about her husband Yash Chopra and her journey. In 'The Romantics', not only Yash Chopra but those things about Pamela were also seen, which the common people were unaware of.

 

Yash Chopra was the inspiration

In the show, Pamela recalled the days when the director had many sleepless nights before the release of his first film as a producer (Daag, 1973). Yash too often reached out to his wife and took her help to understand how the female perspective worked.

 

Took seven rounds in 1970

Pamela and Yash Chopra were married in 1970 in a traditional ceremony and it was an arranged marriage. They have two sons, Aditya, and Uday Chopra. Aditya is a film producer and director. He is married to Rani Mukherjee. Uday is also an actor and film producer.

 

Has been seen in 'Dil To Pagal Hai'

Pamela Chopra has also sung many songs for her husband's films. From Kabhi Kabhi (1976) to Mujhse Dosti Karoge! (2002) is included. The 1993 film Aaina was entirely produced by him. He also wrote the screenplay for the 1997 film Dil To Pagal Hai. She has also appeared on screen once. It was from the opening song Ek Duje Ke Vaaste of the film Dil To Pagal Hai, where Pamela and Yash appeared together.
