Trudeau said that Canada is the most affected by the crisis. "Dedicated to helping those in need." He said that we do not think that we have to select between support for Ukraine and the Sustainable Development Goals-global development issue. The responsible step is for us to select both, which we are doing with full strength and financial commitment.
'Ukraine's fight is our fight'
Trudeau called on Russia to immediately withdraw its troops from Ukraine and said the ongoing fight in Ukraine is Canada's fight too. He said that this is our joint struggle and no one should have any doubt about it. Trudeau advised Russia on peace, saying that peace between the two countries should be based on respect for rules. This peace must be based on humanism and shared values.
