Union Minister of State for Home Nityanand Rai gave information on several important issues in the Rajya Sabha. He gave important information about the CAPF and Assam Rifles jawans who lost their lives during 2019-21. He said that till 2019-21, 177 CAPF and Assam Rifles personnel laid down their lives in the line of duty.

 

Minister of State for Home gave information about mobile connection in Ladakh

While replying in the Rajya Sabha, Minister of State for Home Nityanand Rai gave information about mobile connections in the Union Territory of Ladakh. According to the Minister of State for Home, total mobile connections in Ladakh: 5,82,473; Postpaid connections: 2,71,829; Pre-paid connections: 3,10,644.

 

A total of Rs 157.49 crore has been released to the states under the Nirbhaya Fund.

Minister of State for Home Ajay Kumar Mishra said that a total of Rs 157.49 crore was released to states and union territories under the Nirbhaya Fund scheme for setting up Women Help Desks (WHDs) in police stations. The sanctioned funds also cover any new police stations set up in the States/UTs.
