There is good news among the rapidly growing cases of corona in the country. The number of people recovering from the infection has crossed 1.5 million. So far more than 1 crore 50 lakh 78 thousand people have been cured. A record 2.70 lakh people have recovered in the last 24 hours. This is the largest number of patients cured in a day so far. Earlier on Tuesday, 2.62 people were recovered. Overall recovery rate has also increased by 1.8%. It is now 82.08%.

It is a matter of concern that 3 lakh 79 thousand 164 new patients were confirmed on Wednesday. This is the largest number of new patients found in a day so far. Earlier, on April 27, the maximum number of 3.62 lakh patients was identified. Apart from this, 3,646 infected people died within 24 hours. This was the second consecutive day when more than three thousand people have died. Earlier on Tuesday, 3,286 deaths were recorded.

1. Maharashtra
On Wednesday, 63,309 people were found infected. 61,181 people recovered and 1,035 died. So far, 44 lakh 73 thousand people have been affected by the infection in the state. Of these, 37.30 lakh people have been cured, while 67 thousand 214 people have died. 6 lakh 73 thousand 481 patients are currently being treated.
2. Uttar Pradesh
On Wednesday, 29,751 people were found infected. 35,903 people recovered and 265 people died. So far, 11 lakh 82 thousand people have been infected in the state. Of these, 8 lakh 70 thousand have been cured, while 11,943 patients succumbed. 3 lakh patients are undergoing treatment.
3. Delhi
In the country's capital Delhi, 25,986 people were found corona positive on Wednesday. 20,458 people recovered and 368 died. So far, 10 lakh 72 thousand people have been infected. Of these, 9 lakh 39 thousand have been cured, while 14,616 patients have died. 99,752 are undergoing treatment.
4. Chhattisgarh
On Wednesday, 15,563 people were found corona infected. 15,506 people recovered and 279 died. So far, 6 lakh 97 thousand people in the state have been infected. Out of this, 5 lakh 70 thousand people have been cured, while 8,061 patients have died. Treatment of 1 lakh 18 thousand is underway.
5. Gujarat
On Wednesday, 14,120 people were found infected in the state. 8,595 people recovered and 174 died. So far 5 lakh 38 thousand 845 people have been infected. Of these, 3 lakh 98 thousand 824 have been cured, while 6,830 patients have died. 1,33,191 patients are undergoing treatment.
6. Madhya Pradesh
On Wednesday, 12,758 people were found corona positive in the state. 14,156 people recovered and 105 died. So far 5 lakh 38 thousand 165 people have been infected. Of these, 4 lakh 39 thousand 968 people have been cured, while 5,424 people have died. 92,773 patients are undergoing treatment.
