PFI: Violence in the states, conspiracy against the country, even after doing terror funding, why only 5 years ban on PFI? three reasons

Posted on 28th Sep 2022 02:02 pm by rohit kumar

The central government has finally imposed a five-year ban on the Popular Front of India (PFI) and its affiliated organizations. Organizations that have been banned include Campus Front of India, Rehab India Foundation, All India Imam Council, National Confederation of Human Rights Organisation, Women's Front, Junior Front, and Empower India Foundation.

The Ministry of Home Affairs has also released a list of bloody games and black exploits of these organizations. This shows that all these organizations have been involved in organizing riots, murders, and conspiracies against the country in many states of the country. Central investigative agencies have conducted two raids across the country and arrested more than 300 members of this organization. The wires of PFI are also connected with the dreaded terrorist organization ISIS. It intended to create fear among the people of the country.

Now you must be thinking why such a dangerous organization was banned for only five years. Why was it not banned completely? Will this organization start operating again after five years? Let's understand...

First, know what is PFI.

Popular Front of India (PFI) was formed on 17 February 2007. This organization was formed by merging three Muslim organizations in South India. These included the National Democratic Front of Kerala, the Karnataka Forum for Dignity, and Manitha Neeti Pasarai of Tamil Nadu. PFI claims that at present this organization is active in 23 states of the country. After the ban on the Students Islamic Movement (SIMI) in the country, the PFI has expanded rapidly. This organization is said to have a lot of hold in South Indian states like Karnataka, and Kerala. It also has many branches.

What are the allegations made?

The Ministry of Home Affairs has released a list of allegations against PFI. It has been told that PFI has been involved in the killings in various states of the country in the last few years. The same organization is involved in the murders of Abhimanyu in Kerala in 2018, A Sanjith in November 2021, and Nandu in 2021. Apart from this, Ramalingam in Tamil Nadu in 2019, Shashi Kumar in 2016, Sharath in Karnataka in 2017, R. The brutal murders of Rudresh, Praveen Pujari in 2016, and Praveen Nettaru in 2022 were also done by this organization. The sole purpose of these killings was to disturb the peace in the country and to create fear in the minds of the people.

On July 4, 2010, the palm of the right hand of Professor TJ Joseph was chopped off in Kerala. The PFI was angry with Malayali Professor Joseph. The organization believed that Joseph had allegedly made derogatory remarks about the Prophet Muhammad in a college examination. To avenge this, the PFI activists cut off the palm of Joseph's right hand. The accused in this incident were arrested by the NIA.

According to the Ministry of Home Affairs, this organization has links with terrorists. Members of the organization went to Syria, Iraq, and Afghanistan to join IS terrorist groups, and many were killed there. Some were arrested by various state police and central agencies. It has links with the terrorist organization Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh. This organization is spreading fundamentalism in the country by collecting money through hawala and donations. By tricking the youth, they are pushing them into terrorism.

Then why the ban only for five years?

To understand this, we spoke to senior Supreme Court advocate Ashwini Kumar Upadhyay. He said, 'Right now based on the preliminary investigation of the NIA, the Ministry of Home Affairs has issued this order. The investigation is still on and the charge sheet is yet to be filed. A preliminary investigation found much important evidence. Many testified, based on which this big action has taken place. Further, while filing the charge sheet, the government can ban these organizations forever. This too will be based on evidence.

Upadhyay says, “The first five years are crucial for the dismantling of any organization. If the legal screws are tightened properly in these five years, then all the wrong people of this organization will be cut. Which will be a big achievement for the government.

Used to raise money from Gulf countries by telling a false story

Popular Front of India (PFI) campaigners and active members collect Zakat money from Gulf countries. For this, the rich businessmen tell a false story of atrocities on Muslims in India. Then with the same money, he runs a school of terror in India. PFI is strengthening the network here by helping the poor in the name of education and illness.

This has been revealed in the interrogation of PFI publicist Shafiq Peeth, who was caught by the ED from Kozhikode, Kerala. Shafiq is being questioned at ED's office in Hazratganj. Shafiq's remand will end on October 3.

Fundraising for PFI is done by Rehab India Foundation. The same foundation used to give money to Shafiq, which he spent to strengthen the organization in several districts of the state, including Lucknow, Delhi, and the areas of the Indo-Nepal border.

According to security agencies, the money received through the foundation is being used in religious institutions, where the message of jihad is given in the name of religion. With this money, conversion and love jihad are being done by luring the needy. ED has got information from Shafiq that PFI's network is linked to Gulf countries. Shafiq was also working to connect foreigners with the organization.
