A hurricane that rose from the Caribbean Sea has wreaked havoc in Cuba. This storm named Ian is so big that it caused a power blackout in Cuba. On September 27, the storm hit the West Coast of Cuba with heavy rain and strong winds. Now it is moving towards Florida, USA. According to Reuters, about 2.5 million people in Florida have been instructed to evacuate. It is believed that this storm can cause more destruction than the Tarpon Springs Hurricane in 1921.

Ian knocked on September 27 in Cuba. Due to the arrival of this storm, the wind blew at a speed of 195 km per hour. Many people were harmed by this. Farms were destroyed. The houses were destroyed. Simultaneously, the power grid of Cuba also failed. Due to this, the whole country was spreading darkness. Electricity is not back in Cuba yet.

According to the National Hurricane Center, the storm is moving rapidly toward the West Coast of Florida. It is currently a Category 3 storm, but it is likely to be a Category 4. Due to this, there may be heavy rain in Florida. The US government has declared a week-long emergency in Florida.

 

Along with this, the government has also given instructions to about 25 lakh people to vacate the house. The storm is approaching Florida from the Gulf of Mexico through Cuba. Its impact will be more visible in the capital Tampa and the city of St. Petersburg.
