PM Greets Nation on Basant Panchami

New Delhi, Jan 24 (IANS) Prime Minister Narendra Modi Saturday greeted the people on Basant Panchami, the first day of spring.

"Greetings on Basant Panchami. May this festival bring immense happiness and prosperity in everyone's lives,", the prime minister said in a statement.

On Basant Panchami, Saraswati Puja is celebrated with traditional fervour as people worship idols of the goddess.
