यहां तक कि उन्होंने चिकित्सा व्यवसाय में शामिल लोगों को भी भगवान के समान बताया।

रविवार की जनता कर्फ्यू के दौरान कोरोना योद्धाओं पर लोगों की प्रशंसा को याद करते हुए, पीएम मोदी ने कहा, "हमारे देश में, जो लोग देश की सेवा कर रहे हैं, उनके प्रति सार्वजनिक रूप से आभार व्यक्त करने की भावना दिन-प्रतिदिन बढ़ती जा रही है।"
प्रधान मंत्री ने कहा, "कोरोनोवायरस न तो हमारी संस्कृति को मिटा सकते हैं और न ही हमारे मूल्यों को। इस प्रकार, संकट के समय में, हमारी संवेदनशीलता को बढ़ाना चाहिए।"
सरकार ने बुधवार को ज़ोनल डिप्टी कमिश्नरों को ज़मीनदारों के खिलाफ "सख्त दंडात्मक कार्रवाई" करने की शक्ति दी, जो डॉक्टरों और पैरामेडिकल स्टाफ को मजबूर कर रहे हैं, जो उपन्यास कोरोनोवायरस से लड़ने में लगे हुए हैं, अपने किराए के परिसर को खाली करने के लिए।
