
On World Oceans Day, Union Earth Sciences Minister Kiren Rijiju participated in the cleanliness drive at Besant Nagar Beach in Chennai. He along with the sanitation workers also cleaned the beach. During the cleanliness campaign, he gave a message to the public while talking to the journalists.
Talking to reporters, he said- 'We want to convey a loud and clear message to the people to keep the beach clean, not just cleaning the beach here but on this World Oceans Day.'
