PM Modi canceled rally of West Bengal, mentioned Corona

New Delhi: Terrible situation prevails across the country from Corona. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has canceled tomorrow's tour of West Bengal. PM Modi tweeted that tomorrow he will hold a high-level meeting on the situation in Corona. Because of this, I will not go to West Bengal. PM Modi was to go to West Bengal tomorrow for campaigning in the seventh and eighth phases of assembly elections.

 

 

Let us know that record new cases are coming to the country for the last few days. Today only three lakh 14 thousand 835 new cases have been confirmed and 2104 patients have died. The number of people who lost their lives in the country has increased to 1,84,657.

 

 

Due to increasing cases of the corona, crowds are being seen in hospitals across the country. Many states including Delhi have complained of a lack of oxygen. Today, the Supreme Court also took cognizance of this.

 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a review meeting today amid complaints of lack of oxygen. The Prime Minister's Office (PMO) issued a statement saying that the Prime Minister stressed the need to work at a fast pace to increase the production of oxygen, speed up its delivery, and ensure its access to health facilities.

 

 

During this period, the officials apprised the Prime Minister of the steps taken in the last few weeks to improve the supply of oxygen. According to the statement, the Prime Minister was told that cooperation is being made with all the state governments for the demand of oxygen of the states and adequate supply accordingly.

 

 

Voting in phase eight

 

 

Voting is going on in eight phases for the assembly elections in West Bengal. Voting of these five phases has been done. Votes are being cast today for the sixth phase. Voting will be held on April 26 for 36 seats in five districts under the seventh phase and April 29 for 35 seats in four districts under the eighth phase. The votes will be counted on May 2.

 

 

On March 27 on 30 assembly seats of five districts under the first phase in the state, on April 1 on 30 assembly seats in four districts under the second phase, on April 3 in 31 assembly seats under the third phase, five districts under the fourth phase Votes were cast on 44 seats of the state on 10 April and under the fifth phase on 45 seats in six districts on 17 April.
