According to a Bloomberg report, on May 3, information to the stock markets said that Cascade had transferred more than $ 500 million of shares in Coca-Cola Femsa and Grupo Television to Melinda Gates. On May 3 itself, Bill and Melinda Gates announced the breaking up of the 27-year-old marriage. Approximately $ 120 million shares of Coca-Cola Femsa and approximately $ 386 million shares in Grupo Television have been transferred to Melinda French Gates.

Apart from this, Cascade has transferred 1.41 crore shares of Canadian National Railway Company and 29.4 lakh shares of AutoNation Inc to Melinda. The shares received by Melinda in the Canadian National Railway Company are worth $ 1.5 billion, while the shares in AutoNation Inc are worth $ 309 million. Thus, the total value of these shares is more than $ 1.8 billion.
