Election Commission has sounded the election bugle in Himachal Pradesh. Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar announced the dates at Vigyan Bhavan in New Delhi on Friday. The BJP-ruled hill state will go to the polls on November 12 and the counting of votes will take place on December 8. Meanwhile, ABP News and C-Voter have also presented the latest opinion poll. For the last 37 years, there has been a BJP government and once a Congress government in the state. Here people have been changing the government every 5 years.

 

How many people are happy with the work of Jai Ram Thakur?

According to opinion polls, most people are happy with the work of Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur. 38 percent of the people said 'good' in response to how the CM's work is done. 29 percent of people considered the work of the Chief Minister as average and 33 percent considered it bad. That is, 71 percent of people are satisfied with the work of the Chief Minister.

 

Who is the first choice as CM?

In the survey, when people were asked about the first choice of CM post, 32 percent said Jai Ram Thakur was the best. 26 percent of people want to see Anurag Thakur as CM. Congress leader Pratibha Singh was cited by 18 percent as their favorite and 24 percent would like to see another face as the chief minister.

 

What is the biggest issue?

According to the opinion poll, 49 percent of the people have cited unemployment as the biggest issue. 15% consider electricity, road water as the biggest issue. 7 percent cited corruption and 29 percent others as the reason.

 

Which party got how much vote percentage?

According to the C-Voter's Opinion Poll, the practice of changing the government in Himachal for 37 years may change this time. According to the survey, BJP can get 46 percent vote share. Congress can get 35.2% votes. At the same time, Aam Aadmi Party may have to be satisfied with a 6.3 percent vote share. Others are expected to get a 12.5 percent vote share.

According to opinion polls, BJP can win 38-46 seats in Himachal. The Congress is projected to win 20-28 seats. Aam Aadmi Party may have to be content with 0-1 seats. Others may have 0-3 seats in their accounts.

 

What was the election result of 2017

In the last assembly elections, the BJP had won 44 seats. Congress had won 21 seats. Aam Aadmi Party did not get a single seat in its account, while others had won 3 seats.
