Sri Lankan leg-spinner Aquila Dhananjay experienced tremendous ups and downs of T20 cricket in a single match on Wednesday.
He took a hat-trick in the T20 match played against the West Indies, then proved too expensive by giving the same over six sixes.
The T20 match was held on Wednesday by the West Indies team by 4 wickets, in which the team scored 134 runs losing 6 wickets. But more than West Indies victory, Dhananjay's bowling and Pollard's six sixes are being discussed in this match.
Akila Dhananjay has become the 15th international and fourth Sri Lankan player to take a hat-trick in T20 cricket. In the fourth over of the T20 match on Wednesday, he took big wickets of one by one, Evin Louis (28), Chris Gayle (0), and Nicholas Pooran (0).
There was a time that Sri Lanka would win this match very easily. But in the very next over of Dhananjay, the dice were completely reversed.
West Indies all-rounder Kieran Pollard brought the team back into the match with six sixes off Dhananjay. He added 38 runs off 11 balls. He was bowled out by Sri Lankan bowler Vanindu Hasranga.
But kieron Pollard became the third batsman to hit six sixes in an over in international cricket. Before him, Indian batsman Yuvraj Singh and South African batsman Herschelle Gibbs did this feat.

Akila Dhananjay took a hat-trick in one over and conceded 36 runs in the next over giving six sixes. Dhananjay became the first bowler to score a hat-trick and six sixes in a single match in international cricket.
With the victory in this match, the West Indies team has taken a 1-0 lead in the T20 series.
In the first T20 match, the Sri Lankan team had scored 131 runs in 9 overs in 9 overs in 20 overs.
The team started well. Sri Lanka scored 86 runs on the loss of three wickets. But the team lost the next 6 wickets by adding only 45 runs.
