Six planes landed at the airport, got plenty of passengers

Planes from Mumbai, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, and Bangalore arrived at Maharishi Valmiki International Airport at regular intervals on Friday. Two planes from Delhi reached here carrying passengers. Due to bad weather, there was a delay in the departure of planes. No plane landed here till about 1.30 pm. As the date of consecration in Shri Ram Mandir is approaching, security is being tightened at the airport. On Friday, police personnel were deployed at small distances on both sides of the one-and-a-half-kilometer distance from Prayagraj Highway to the airport. There was also the movement of police officers. Security was tightened at the airport gate. A large number of police personnel were deployed. No one was allowed inside without a pass.

300 Aastha trains will run from across the country to Ayodhya

Given the expectation of an increase in the number of devotees in Ayodhya after the consecration of Ram Lalla, the Railway Administration is preparing to run Aastha trains. Aastha Memu trains will be run from Gomtinagar and Charbagh to Ayodhya. It is expected that these trains can start from 25th. However, the officers are waiting for the train notification to be issued.

Considering the importance of Ayodhya, the Northern Railway is making Ayodhya Cantt, Ayodhya Dham, Salarpur, and Darshannagar, while the North Eastern Railway is making Ramghat station state-of-the-art. Now preparations are on to run Aastha trains. Railway officials said that there will be two types of Aastha trains. Aastha Memu trains will be run from the districts around Ayodhya. For example, Aastha Memu trains will be run from places like Lucknow, Prayagraj, Varanasi, etc. 10 trains will be available for this. At the same time, long-distance Aastha trains will run from places like South India, Delhi, Mumbai, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, etc., which will have sleeper and AC coaches. Approximately 300 such trains will run from all over the country to reach Ayodhya. Aastha Memu trains running for short distances can be started from 25. But, officials are avoiding saying anything officially in this regard.

Passengers expected to increase three to four times

According to railway officials, 32 pairs of trains are being run for Ayodhya. About 25 thousand passengers travel through them. After Pran Pratistha, the number of passengers may increase from 75 thousand to one lakh. In such a situation, the number of trains is also being increased. After starting two Vande Bharat, and one Amrit Bharat train, Aastha trains will now connect to Ayodhya. This will provide convenience to the devotees in transportation.

Aastha trains are to be run from across the country including Lucknow to Ayodhya. But, notification and instructions are awaited from the Railway Board in this regard. As soon as it arrives, the trains can be put back on track.
