Prime Minister called an all party meeting

Prime Minister Narendra Modi condoled the martyrdom of the soldiers today, amid the threat of 20 Indian soldiers being killed in a clash with the People's Liberation Army (PLA) of China and not evacuating the territory occupied by China in the Galvan Valley of Ladakh. Said that India wants peace but on provocation, it will give a 'broken mouth'. During a video conference discussion with the Chief Ministers of the states, he said that no matter what the circumstances, India will protect every inch of its land and its self-respect.

The Prime Minister said that he wants to assure the country that the sacrifice of these soldiers will not go in vain. He said, 'For us the integrity and sovereignty of the country is supreme and nothing can stop us from protecting it. Nobody should have any doubt about this.

 

After the martyrdom of 19 jawans and a commanding officer in the Galvan Valley on Monday, various political parties demanded the Prime Minister to take the country into confidence. The Prime Minister has called an 'all-party meeting' at 5 pm on Friday.

 

Meanwhile, Foreign Minister S Jaishankar has lodged a strong resistance to the Chinese Foreign Minister on the developments in the Galvan Valley saying that the incident "will have a serious impact on the mutual relationship between the two countries".

 

Foreign Ministry officials and military leadership spent the whole day in talks with Chinese counterparts and other countries and tried to resolve the latest dispute peacefully. However, the two countries publicly accused each other of border violations and issued severe warnings.

 

Jaishankar and China's Foreign Minister Wang Yi accused each other's soldiers in a mutual conversation that they violated the June 6 agreement between their commanders. The two accused each other of violating the Line of Actual Control. Meanwhile, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has welcomed efforts to reduce the tension between the military leadership of India and China. The trilateral meeting of Russia-India and China on June 22 has been postponed indefinitely amid growing tensions between India and China. The Russian news agency RIA was quoted by sources in the Indian Foreign Ministry. So far, China has not given any information about the death of its soldiers, but the Chinese government mouthpiece Global Times has given its confession.

 

In a discussion with the Chinese Foreign Minister, Jaishankar said that China was attempting to build a structure on the Indian side in Galvan and in doing so violated the June 6 agreement. He said that there was controversy over the subject and the Chinese army attacked in a planned manner and was directly responsible for this violence and the martyrdom of soldiers.

 

Jaishankar said that China tried to change the ground situation by defying all agreements to maintain the status quo. He said that China should rethink its steps and take necessary steps. He also said that the soldiers of both sides should not take unilateral steps keeping the full value of LAC.

 

According to the Ministry of External Affairs, the foreign ministers of both countries agreed that both sides will take any step to spoil the situation.

 

Will not pick up In a statement issued by the Chinese government, its foreign minister said that the Indian Army crossed the LAC on June 15, which led to a fierce struggle and many casualties. The Chinese Foreign Minister, while registering a protest on behalf of his country, demanded a detailed investigation into the skirmish from India and strict punishments to those responsible for it, to keep its advance troop under control, and to stop all steps prompting it.
