Meanwhile, Foreign Minister S Jaishankar has lodged a strong resistance to the Chinese Foreign Minister on the developments in the Galvan Valley saying that the incident "will have a serious impact on the mutual relationship between the two countries".

He said that there was controversy over the subject and the Chinese army attacked in a planned manner and was directly responsible for this violence and the martyrdom of soldiers.
Jaishankar said that China tried to change the ground situation by defying all agreements to maintain the status quo. He said that China should rethink its steps and take necessary steps. He also said that the soldiers of both sides should not take unilateral steps keeping the full value of LAC.
According to the Ministry of External Affairs, the foreign ministers of both countries agreed that both sides will take any step to spoil the situation.
